Vera Sporadica
With a background in theatre, music, and improv, Vera loves burlesque for the autonomy it allows and the fearlessness it invites. Her passion for telling stories fuels her performances, including classic, neo, nerdlesque, and sing-strips. She can be seen performing around Chicago and across the U.S., and has had the honor to perform at such festivals as Show Me Burlesque Festival (2023), Teaser Fest (2024), Pacific Northwest Burlesque Festival (2024), and Metalesque Fest™ (2024).
Harlie Hellfire
Harlie HellFire is Chicago’s Sparkling Succubus. She loves to tangle her love for horror, alternative and pop culture with her love for sex and shimmer. She started shimmying on stage in 2019 and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon! Harlie Hellfire is also the Casting Directrix for Chicago’s Open Barre Burlesque where her goal is to always cast a line-up that showcases Chicago’s diverse burlesque community!
Skyburial
Hailing from Poland, but making Chicago her home, Skyburial has been dancing and performing for five years, and she specializes in classic burlesque, fire dance, and fan. Her fiery presence has been lighting up stages around the city, as well as the Chicago Full Moon Jam here, where she is a prominent fire performer. She recently appeared at Newport with Dollesque, and the Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque’s Divine Devils show, and is currently learning from her mentor Ms. Nixon. Skyburial is also a painter, artist, and designer. She will light you on fire with her wild, dark style!
Vivian Meretrix
Vivian Meretrix, the Sorceress of Shimmy and the Head Hottie from the Illumi-Naughtie, is an Ordained Priestess and Sacred Dancer, who has performed at national occult conferences as well as local Chicago burlesque stages. In 2023, she formed The Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque Review, a show that titillates and educates, combining spiritually-based performances and occult history and ideology.
Marla Wyrd
Marla Wyrd is a movement spellcaster in styles of fusion and improvisational belly dance, silk flow, and burlesque. For almost a decade, this gothic showghoul performed across the Midwest and studied dance from California to Puerto Rico. She is a member of Newport Theater’s production of the Uncanny Attic coproduced by Bazuka Joe and Bunny Royale, and support team to Willy LaQueue’s Delirium, and in the cast for Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque’s Rites of Spring. She was recently in Ritual Rhythms’ All Souls Night. She’ll take your breath away and haunt the rest of your days.
Kamrah
Viral TikTok star, teacher and performer of multiple styles of belly dance and fusion, Kamrah is known for this killer isolations and theatrical pieces. He’s performed in and headlined dance festivals all over the US and the world.
Mae the Bellydancer
Mae the Bellydancer is a your friendly neighborhood bellydancer, fire spinner and costume designer. With 30+ years of performance and production under her jingly belt, she’ll be sure to make you ooh and ahh, and hopefully encourage you to destroy the patriarchy. She was the producer of the beloved burlesque shows The Varietease Cabaret and the Knock Knock Hot Spot, and of course, the director of the long form bellydance show the Glint. Currently she is teaching bellydance at Hyde Park School of Dance to the masses.
