May Day Madness 2026

Featuring the husband and wife folk duo K-Nein, modern clown Skirt Vonnegut, contortionist CanDeStroy, bellydancer Indica Moon, flow artists Dani Danger and Emma Lucia, and burlesque acrobat duo Ramona Romance and Rotten Kore, we will explore themes of resistance and freedom, associated with the activism of May Day.

Show is at 9:30pm, with a brief intermission. General admission tickets are $25, with VIP tickets $40. VIP receives preferred seating and gift bag.

Performers

K-Nein

Kate & K9 is the acoustic soul of the K-Nein music family, led by husband-and-wife duo Katelynn and Michael Krieglstein. Blending heartfelt vocals, stripped-down instrumentation, and rich, interwoven harmonies, their performances are tailor-made for intimate spaces — think cozy coffeehouses, scenic wineries, backyard gatherings, and campground stages under the stars.

Drawing from folk, Americana, and classic rock traditions, Kate & K-9 craft a warm, inviting sound that resonates with listeners of all ages. Whether it’s a mellow afternoon set or a fireside serenade, their music invites you in and makes you feel at home.

Skirt Vonnegut

Emerging from the frozen tundra, Skirt Vonnegut is the existentialist clown to bring you down. And then bring you back up again! Their intellectual style of storytelling and comedy will make you rethink your entire existence. Follow them down the path of satire as they hold a mirror to the grotesqueness of modern day society.

CanDeStroy

CanDeStroy is the bendiest babe who will break your brain. They have been contorting themselves through burlesque since early 2023, and have been a member of Frisky Business Burlesque in Austin, Texas, since 2025. When not onstage performing, CanDe can be found producing CanDeStroy Movement Productions, a production company built to bring together community through a rolling list of themes featuring local performers. With a passion for art in all its forms, CanDe also trains for aerials, and teaches mobility and choreography.

Indica Moon

Since her stage debut in 2024, Indica Moon has become know for her graceful Egyptian Raqs Sharqi, fusion belly dance, and pole dance techniques. Embodying her favorite strain of the devil’s lettuce, Indica invites you to slow down, get immersed in the rhythm, and surrender to the body high!

Dani Danger

Dani Danger is a circus and sideshow enthusiast. Flow performer, and pinup queen who was miss Motoblot 2023, a Triton Trouper clown who is taking a break this season to regain some sparkle to shine brighter than before, but still choosing places to showcase her clowny hijinks.

Ramona Romance

Ramona Romance is a burlesque performer and general creative who’s been seducing stages from the Midwest to Los Angeles since 2017. Known for her dark and playful style and magnetic presence, she brings a little danger and a lot of heart to every act. As a burlesque instructor, she helps others tap into their most authentic—and deliciously daring—selves.

Rotten Kore is an astrologer, personal trainer, and fitness & yoga instructor. She will chart your fitness journey and read your birth chart – all while out-flexing your demons. As an aspiring muscle mommy and enemy of the state she brings power, freedom, and a little danger to every performance.

Emma Lucia

Emma Lucia grew up a competitive gymnast before moving into aerial and dance. She is a teacher and performer in the Chicago area. Emma was our featured pole performer and designer of the Maypole at last year’s Maypole Madness.
